Assignee: aklimov
Status: Resolved (closed on 2015-06-05 16:45:03 +00:00)
Target Version: 2.0.0-rc1

Users should not be forced to read through the text - copy & paste just once should suffice. Experience shows that there are not so many good readers out there ;-) What's for example missing right now is the command to create an Icinga Web group and add the Webserver to that group. If all those tasks are getting too complex (as they also depend on the operating system you're working on) they might also be moved to a dedicated CLI task.

Cheers,
Thomas

  • Subject changed from Wizard: show all commands required to get ready to Show all shell commands required to get ready in the setup wizard
  • Category set to Installation
  • Target Version set to 2.0.0-rc1

I also think it's a good idea to create a CLI command for creating the system group and adding the web server user to that group. Further, adding this commands to the installation documentation would be great as well.
