A longer alias field would be great. Some users store information like addresses in there. Sure, you can use customvariables, but the handling of the alias column is nicer in Icinga-Web (eg. then you can search for the address in the main search bar)

varchar(255) should be enough

Oracle only has contacts with varchar2(64).

Forward port to icinga2 db ido required.
