In Icinga Web 1.9 the Apache2 config file will be updated and the .htaccess files will become obsolete.

The files are backported from the Debian package.

Revamped Apache2 configuration, removed htaccess

All rewrite rules and Apache configuration has been
moved to the icinga-web.conf for Apache2.

The .htaccess files still exist, but are empty for
updates, so the old files are replaced.
