Hi,

what I love very much in Director is the ability to leave descriptions for my data fields - this is my approach to teach my colleagues: what does this datafield mean? What is its default value, and what happens when changing the default?

So, my question is: is it possible to put something similar to templates?

We have many of them, and for my colleagues it's not very clear when what to use - and why. A text field (only in Director, it's nothing that has to be visible in Icinga Web 2) would be great, me explaining "take this for a Ricoh printer, and the following checks will be automatically there" - the "monitoring magic" would be much clearer for them.
