Hi all,

Icingaweb2 shows twice as many unhandled services as they really are.
E.g. 1 Service Problem is given, it is shown as 2 unhandled Services
See attached screenshot.

Regards,
Marcus

  • Version of IcingaWeb2?
  • Version of Icinga2?
  • *NIX/BSD distribution?
  • Package source?

I have experienced it myself, however I find it to be an expected behaviour.
I rarely see this issue, it is usually seen when a host or service very recently changed its state and other columns in the browser have not updated yet. It is usually just a few seconds away. A trick is to just hit refresh on the column you think is "out of sync" and it will be fixed immediately intead of in a few seconds.

I don't think this is a sync problem... THe issue only occurs, when you filter for a server and get the view with the red (x unhandled services) notification.
All other counts are fine.

We experiences a similiar issue. It looks like the number of unhandled services gets multiplied with the number of hostgroups of this host.

e.g.: Host has 1 unhandled service and is member of 4 hostgroups = 4 unhandled services. When i add this host to a 5th hostgroup i will get 5 unhandled services.

Icinga 2: 2.5.4
Icinga Web 2: 2.3.4
OS: RHEL 7
DB: MariaDB 5.5
Package Source: packages.icinga.org

Addition: This only happens when i use a filter with hostgroup_name
