If you move a cluster node from one zone to another, the old synced zone files are still in /var/lib/icinga2/api/zones. After removing them (rm -rf /var/lib/icinga2/api/zones/<old_zone_name>) the node works fine.

if it's not that easy to fix this issue, just give a hint in the docs.

Common source for errors on a demo and hands-on setup. Should at least be documented / mentioned somewhere, but nothing critical.
