would it be possible to make the paging deactivateable and make the results scrollable?

  • Priority changed from Normal to Low

The problem is that large setups would cause your browser to crash, especially when using IE < 9.

Unfortunately, our version of ExtJS (our JS Framework) doesn't have 'smart grids' that automatically load data when scrolling and displays them on the fly - so we're currently bound to pagination.

On the other hand - when having large setups it's sometimes better to be able to jump to a specific page instead of having to scroll a loooooong way down. Also this complicates reloading.

I wouldn't close this feature request, but would change it's priority to low if thats ok for you.

  • Status changed from New to Feedback
  • Target Version deleted 1.10

1.9 provides etc/conf.d/userpreferences.xml where you can set the max page items.

    25

setting this to a higher value should workaround your problem. can you test that?
