It would be nice to have a button on the 'blocking outages' page to be able to acknowledge the host and all child hosts that are in an unreachable state.

I have had issues when trying to acknowledge too many hosts at the same time and getting back an error from the Apache server saying that the 'Post' request was too long (and yes I know this can be fixed) however one click to acknowledge all hosts would be easier.

* adds an acknowledgement icon in host row which let's you acknowledge
  the causing hast and all his child hosts
* drawback: command gets submitted via GET.
** If the host list is too long, then the webserver could start to complain that the
   request uri is too long.
** Can't do it via POST: Nesting a form inside a table isn't allowed

Hi,

Which Icinga Version do you use?

In 1.5 you should be able to acknowledge round about 1900 hosts at once.

But yes, it would be a nice feature to have to acknowledge all hosts at once.

I am still using 1.4.0 but I will upgrade to 1.5.0 and see if it fixes the Apache issue, but yes we would love to still have it on the blocking outages page!
