Hi,
Using a configuration with the "show_all_services_host_is_authorized_for" option disabled, I've noticed a behaviour which may be not wanted for privacy reasons.
Going to the "Hostgroup Overview" page from the main menu, I've played with all the links of the linkbox:
link: http:///icinga/cgi-bin/status.cgi?hostgroup=all&style=overview
"Services" column of the table show the service counters & status only for the services the logged user is contact of.
"Services" column of the table says "No matching services", if the logged user is not contact of any services.
=> ok
http:///icinga/cgi-bin/status.cgi?hostgroup=all&style=detail
shows the following message:
"It appears as though you do not have permission to view information for any of the services you requested..."
=> ok
http:///icinga/cgi-bin/status.cgi?hostgroup=all&style=hostdetail
nothing about services
=> ok
http:///icinga/cgi-bin/status.cgi?hostgroup=all&style=summary
"Service Status Summary" column of the table show the service counters & status, even if the logged user is not contact of them!
=> nok
http:///icinga/cgi-bin/status.cgi?hostgroup=all&style=grid
"Services" column of the table show the service names & status, even if the logged user is not contact of them!
=> nok
What's your opinion on the behaviour of the 2 last links?
Tests done on icinga 1.4.2.
Cheers,
Yannick
