I have seen in different environments the need of SLA-awareness based on the Business Processes.

Showing them in the GUI of the Business Process Module would be one thing, the other would be adding monitoring optionally on it based on thresholds with the check plugin.

Feel free to move the feature request to another module like reporting if this feature should be implemented somewhere else and Business Process should only hook in. Also feel free to set it to backlog as I know there are plans for creating a modernized database structure which will ease implementation of this.

This becomes interesting as soon as we have our IDO successor. All SLA-related efforts have been deferred so far.

So that's soon then? ;-)

We now have the reporting and ido-reports modules, so are or will they enabling this?
