We had server running out of space and somehow we saw exit status 2 in NRPE log, however in Icinga notification history I see type "UNKNOWN". But in other view I don't see it. Screenshots attached for better understanding of the issue.

Extract the compat log for that specific host/service and time span and check whether the alert history matches with notifications.

Looks more like a rendering problem in Classic UI to me - the log says "CRITICAL", but two lines are marked "UNKNOWN". Moving to the Icinga 1.x project.

For "FLAPPINGSTART" and "FLAPPINGEND" notifications is "alert_level_class" UKNOWN defined.

I guess we should change that.

Forget it. This is a wontfix too. Only security updates and minor patches around, 1.14.1 will be last release for 1.x.
