it should be mentioned, that setting the database name can be one of the following

• //DBSERVER/SID
• SID

taking the information from the tnsnames.ora for the given SID. this also reflects server, port, db then. ocilib only takes db_name, db_user and db_pass as config options from ido2db.cfg
