Hi,

it seems like that Icinga2 cant move written perfdata under /var/spool/icinga/tmp to another directory if it's on a different filesystem.

Reproduce:

  • switch on PerfdataWrite
  • mount a tmpfs to "/var/spool/icinga/tmp"
  • check if data gets moved to "/var/spool/icinga/perfdata"

hope this helps

Why are you using a tmpfs for that?

We'll improve the error handling in the linked issue.

tempf: This is running on a VM and constantly causing IO ops to the filer. completely unnecessary.
